FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE
NEW UNION COUNTY GOVERNMENT COMPLEX
NOTICE OF POSTING OF ADDENDUM TO REQUEST FOR BIDS

On November 8, 2023, the Union County Improvement Authority (the “Authority”) issued a Request for Bids (the “RFB”) soliciting Bids from qualified entities (“Bidder(s)”) for the construction of the New Union County Government Complex in the City of Elizabeth (the “City”) for use and occupancy by the County of Union (the “County”). The property that is the subject of the RFB is owned by the County and is located at 61-99 West Grand Street and designated as Block 6, Lot 1589 on official tax map of the City. Details concerning this procurement are set forth in the RFB which may be downloaded at no cost from the Authority’s website at https://ucimprovementauthority.org/ prior to the Due Date for submission of Bids on or before 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on January 30, 2024.

Requests for Information (“RFI”) regarding the RFB are to be submitted on Exhibit G-5 which is provided in the RFB and all RFI are to be sent directly to Dr. Bibi Taylor, Executive Director at btaylorUCIA@ucnj.org, with a copy to the Authority’s Special Counsel, Leslie G. London, Esq. at llondon@msbnj.com; Jaime Masler at jmasler@digrouparchitecture.com; and Troy Marzziotti at tmarzziotti@mastconstruction.com, by no later than December 29, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. No oral interpretations and responses will be made.

Responses to RFI will be made by Addendum, which will be posted periodically on the Authority’s website at https://ucimprovementauthority.org/. The last Addendum to the RFB will be posted on January 12, 2024.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT Bidders are responsible for regularly checking the Authority’s website for such Addendum. Bidders shall complete and submit the Acknowledgment of Addenda Form provided as Exhibit C-4 of the RFB regarding all Addendum, as part of the Bid submission.
